ONLINE

There will be an audio stream and a chat room during the festival. We will annouce the stream url and link it from this page. It will be an MP3 stream so please make sure you have the correct player software installed to listen to the stream. The stream will be a low bitrate, probably 36kbps.

If you don't know what software to install to listen to the stream then we recommend the following:
OSX - iTunes.
Windows - Winamp
Linux - XMMS

All these players should be able to play the stream with no added extras needed. Just download the software and install it. If you dont know where to get these softwares we recommend 'google' ;)

There will be no live video stream from the venue.

How to Connect to the Audio Stream
Once you have downloaded the player software click on this link and the player should start the stream with a short delay:

How To Connect to the Chat
In addition we will have a wireless network at the venue during the day. This is so people in the venue will be able to log into the chat we have running to 'talk' amongst themselves during the event and to talk with remote presenters and the remote audience. Details will be announced on this page on the day. However we will probably use IRC. If you dont know what this means or how to use it then we recommend for all Operating Systems that you download the latest Mozilla browser and make sure it has 'Chatzilla' with it.

Then open Chatzilla, located in the 'Window' menu on Mozilla, its called 'IRC Chat'. Then enter the following: '/attach moznet' followed by a return then wait to connect to the moznet server and then type '/join remote'.

For people not using Chatzilla but like their own IRC application the IRC URL is : irc://moznet/remote

Photos
Photos of the event will be uploaded during the course of the day.

And there will be a full archive of content afterwards. This means we will be filming the event onto MiniDV and putting it online as streaming video. We will also put online the images and lots of links.
